BRIEF HISTORY:
Model Knowledge Relief Services was born out of Model Knowledge Church in the year 2005 and registered as a Local Non-Governmental Organization with the Aim of mobilizing resources and assisting in the development and improvement of socio-economic conditions of its people.
The idea to form an NGO is to cater for the needs of members of the Model Knowledge Church, School Drop Outs and Street Children was first conceived by Rev. Paul Kwadzo Fianyo founder and Leader of Model Knowledge Church. This was after consultation with Elders and other Opinion Leaders of the Church who were moved with compassion by the plight of some members of the church who cannot afford the school fees of their children and therefore causing school drop outs. These children will one day become Street children who will be looking for ends to meet in the communities where the branches of the church are situated. Cumulatively it will become a National issue.
Consequently, an intensive study was conducted to find out the problems and their solutions.
MISSION:
Model Knowledge Relief Services seeks to act as the main development partner of the affected Communities. As a partner, it seeks to catalyze development activities by assisting Communities in its surrounding to initiate, plan programmes and project to raise the living standards of the people.
